Jan-Feb: Motion (excludes moving water i.e. waterfalls, streams, waves, etc.)

Mar-Apr: Black/White

May-Jun: Vanishing Point Perspective

Sept-Oct: Reflections

Nov-Dec: Down Low

A little clarification here on three of these.

“Motion”, the idea is to have us work a little harder so the exclusion of moving water like waterfalls, streams, waves, etc is that we don’t have a bunch of fuzzy water images and call it good. However, if you have something like a kayaker in a river or on a lake/ocean in a bunch of waves, this would be acceptable because the kayaker is the focus of attention and not the moving water.

“Vanishing Point Perspective” is like the railroad tracks from the foreground going into the background or an edge of a restaurant lunch counter edge leading into the background, a road, or what ever you can find that does something similar.

“Down Low” is one where your imagination is really going to be in overdrive. Ideas that come to my mind is shooting from the ground level to see things from that perspective, a “low-rider” car and shooting from down low, etc. Might be a good idea to bring out those knee pads on this one. (Let’s keep the number of images of shooting Don Lown from Down Low to a minimum please. ;-) )

The other two, Black/White and Reflections, should be self explanatory but don’t be afraid to ask if you don’t know.

It's never too soon to start shooting for these!
